Lemon Garlic Chicken Breast Tenders

Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenderloin
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 lemon squeezed
  • 1 tsp sea salt or to your taste
  • 1 tsp paprika sweet
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 sprigs parsley roughly chopped
  • 5 slices Lemon for garnish
  • for the Lemon Garlic Sauce
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic grated
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • sea salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl whisk together the honey, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, the juice from 1/2 lemon, sea salt, garlic powder and paprika. Add the chicken breast tenders and make sure to coat them all over. Allow them to rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat up a cast iron grill pan on medium low flame and grill the chicken for a couple of minutes on each side until nice grill marks form and the chicken is cooked through. Transfer to a serving platter and keep warm. Keep a close eye on them as chicken tenders cook quickly.
